Air Embossing Sleeves

Air embossing sleeves enable a structured or embossed effect to be made on a malleable (plastic) substrate.  With ROTHTEC®’s TEC-Emboss air embossing sleeves, the surface of a seamless, nickel cylinder is patterned according to the customer’s required design. For the embossing process, it is mounted onto a support cylinder. The big advantage of the TEC-Emboss cylinders is their very light weight (around 6-8kg), which facilitates handling when mounting and demounting on the machine.

Air Embossing Screens

Air embossing screens create an embossed effect by jetting high-pressure air through the patterned areas of the screen. Good results can be achieved on flock surfaces (while the adhesive is still wet) and other types of malleable surfaces.
